Performance Thermo comes with two lids: one for brewing to minimise heat loss and one for serving to keep coffee warm for longer. The brewing lid can also be used for serving, but retains less heat than the serving lid.

How to use the thermal carafe
Position the lid with the arrow pointing to Unlock, then turn to Lock to close the carafe. To pour coffee, turn clockwise until the arrow points to Lock, then anticlockwise until it points to the spout and dot. This creates a vacuum for better pouring. After pouring, close the lid by turning clockwise until the arrow points to LOCK.

Unique pump technology
Fresh water is one of the most important ingredients in good coffee. Wilfa’s unique water pump technology completely empties Performance Thermo after every brew, so you always prepare coffee with fresh, oxygen-rich, clean water.

Most other coffee machines do not use pump technology and do not empty themselves after brewing. Up to 1.5 dl of water can remain in the system, significantly affecting the next brew’s flavour. You can check your current machine by turning it upside down after brewing is complete.

Removable water tank - always clean water
Good coffee starts with clean, fresh water. Performance Thermo therefore has a removable 1.25-litre tank that is as easy to fill as it is to clean.

Perfect brewing temperature
Performance Thermo’s advanced brewing system maintains an optimal extraction temperature of 92-96° throughout brewing, from the first drop to the last, for an unforgettable flavour experience.

The right coffee-to-water ratio
Use the measuring guide on the tank to achieve the ideal coffee-to-water ratio for every brew.

Manual drip stop
The adjustable drip stop lets you control contact time between water and coffee by setting how quickly water flows through the filter holder. This makes it easy to prepare a single cup with the same results as a full carafe.

Maximum flavour
The unique shower head distributes water evenly over the grounds during brewing, bringing out all the coffee’s aromas.

Cleaning indicator
The coffee machine reminds you when it needs cleaning. A slowly pulsing start/stop light indicates that cleaning and descaling are recommended.
