The standard brewing unit heats the water evenly and consistently, supporting even extraction and temperature stability. The lever pressure can be adjusted for optimal compression with different pods on the market. The pod press can even be turned manually without tools. An elegant rear compartment accommodates a 2-litre tank for longer use. The Swiss Edition comes with a Swiss power plug.

Patented standard brewing unit
The unit consists of a heat exchanger with no fewer than two brass torpedoes inside the boiler, creating the water path. This design heats the water evenly and consistently. The unit also supports even extraction and stable temperatures, even when preparing several coffees in succession.

Adjustable brass pod press
This allows the lever pressure to be adjusted for optimal compression with the different E.S.E. pod types available on the market. The pod press can be turned manually without tools: turning right makes the lever easier to operate, while turning left increases pressure. Seal wear or normal mechanical deterioration of components can also be compensated for without a technician.

Removable, detachable filter holder
It can be fully dismantled and cleaned in a few simple steps. Weekly cleaning of the filter holder with plain water supports regular machine care.
